These are pics of the Fossil Dig we took to the Tennessee Highland Rim
on April 26th, 2001. The students are my Chem II class and Mrs. Lewis' Bio II class. The
guide was Dr. John MacKay from Australia.
This is a bridge near Spencer TN
with stalactites forming underneath it.
The bridge is @50 yrs. old.

a geologic anomaly...
(Fossilized trees that are vertical to
the layers of rock ??)

imbedded in the rock strata.
