So far, my experience with the class of physics and, without exception, my
encounter with Mr. Lewis has truly been exceptional.  The class atmpsphere
is fitting to all of my expectations of the "perfect class."  It pushes my
mind to its limits and, I predict, will continue to do so in the future.
I'd like to thank all of the scientists who have been able to explore and
discover the means of the universe and am intrigued by those who will
further that notion.  I would also like to thank, naturally, Mr. Lewis for
teaching us these new concepts and expanding our mind's wingspan by
challenging us to think from different angles.  Finally, to all of you whose
intentions are to take physics, I strongly encourage you to do so; if you
do, put everything you have into it or else nothing will come out of it for
you.

  I LIKE IT.

Dear Mr. Lewis,
I am currently a Junior at Windsor High School in CT.  Recently all of
the physics classes were given a catapult assignment, with requirements
similar to yours. I must say that this is the very best website in my research, I also
represent quite a few other students in our physics classes, who also found
this website extremely helpful.  I cant thank you enough for having this
website, when it comes to imagination, combined with physics, well..lets
just say it does not work too well for me.  Your site offers simple, yet
effective ways to build a catapult.  I modeled my catapult off of the picture below,
because of our different requirements in height, it is a smaller version of
that,
It turned out great, the bungee cords and counter-force allowed me to easily
adjust my tension and control my range.  We also used eggs, but needed a
protective compartment along with it, because if the egg broke, it was an
automatic D no matter what.  With the help of your website, I was able to put
more time into this compartment, which ended up getting me an A.  That in
part goes to you and your students, for helping me jump start this project,
once again,
THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
Yana Miles

stupid idoit of a teacher.
I think that your designs should be more simple because these design are
to complicated.
We needed to build a good catapult in just a few days these designs
probably take a lot of manhours
I hope that you can improve on these faylts that Myself and my group
members have outlined.
